Since 2013, disbursement of all Because We Are Catholic Annual Appeal (formerly known as the Bishop’s Annual Appeal) contributions have been monitored by the Because We Are Catholic Appeal Board of Trust Advisors, a board of volunteer community leaders and parishioners from around the Diocese of Allentown.

The mission of the Because We Are Catholic Appeal is to strive to meet the Catholic social and ministerial needs of the people in the Diocese of Allentown.
MISSION OF THE TRUST ADVISORS
The Trust Advisors serves as a critical community champion of the Because We Are Catholic Annual Appeal. The Trust Advisors have two responsibilities:
- The Trust Advisors will review gifts received and assure the proper allocation of gifts to the various specified and restricted uses and purposes of the Trust.
- The Trust Advisors will assist the Bishop and Diocesan staff with fundraising for the Appeal.
